US once sent thousands of tanks to Russia in order to fight Nazi Germany. But today . . .

How appalling:

The US once upon a time gave many thousand of their best tanks -- the M4 Sherman tank, including the version with the 76mm main gun, seen here -- to the Soviet Union in order to fight Germany and the Nazis in World War II.

Now the US (and Germany) are sending their tanks to the armed forces of the Ukraine -- a country that has commemorated WWII-era fascists and Nazi collaborators:

Military units of Ukraine such and Azov are openly pro-Nazi and openly wear Nazi insignia. The commander-in-chief and other Ukrainian military leaders have been photographed in offices where photographs and statue busts of WWII-era fascists and Nazi collaborators are proudly displayed. See one example here:

The irony will not be lost on the people of Russia.

The people of the United States of America might want to wake up and ask what exactly has happened in their own country since World War II supposedly ended.
